Volunteer As A Summer Missionary |
We need many willing workers to help in the ministries entrusted to us.
Some of these are:
- Camp Directors
- Program Directors
Cabin Leaders (aka 'Camp counselors') - Nurses or EMTs (medical personnel)
- Lifeguards (minimum bronze medallion)
- Wranglers
- Skill instructors (canoeing, archery, etc.)
- Head cooks
- Kitchen helpers
- Maintenance workers
- Day Camp helpers / leaders
Basic requirements:
- Age: 16 and up
- B.A. - "Born Again"
- In fellowship with the Lord with a local congregation
- Able to work in harmony with others
- Genuine love and concern for children
- A servant's attitude
Commitment:
Wouldn't YOU like to invest a week or two of your summer bringing the Gospel to children who might not hear it otherwise? Perhaps you can come for all of July & August and commit your summer to this fruitful ministry.Remuneration:
We are sure that all who come with an unselfish attitude will have a very profitable summer. The Bible says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive". Although we do not pay any salary, a weekly honorarium is usually offered to help with expenses.
