(formally called Vacation Bible School) The purpose of VBS (Vacation Bible School) or Day Camps is to share the gospel truth of Jesus with communities all around Manitoba. Kids of all ages unable to attend a residential camp have the chance to join in a Day camps program. VBS is a Summer Day Camp, which includes Bible lessons, crafts, games, and singing. It usually runs from Monday to Friday, with a closing program for the parents on the last day. VBS positively influences not only the children, but also their homes and communities. Locations vary throughout rural Manitoba. Some past locations include: Crane River, Gillam, Sandy Lake, Bissett, Lundar, Newdale, Warren, Falcon Lake, Goodlands, Inwood, Emerson, Dominion City and East Braintree.
